Then the camera turns toward the opposite riverbank. Hidden among dense rainforest shadows and vegetation is a massive serpentine outline resembling a giant anaconda.
Rather than appearing in plain sight, the shape blends into the riverbank shadows, exposed roots, branches, and muddy shoreline. At first glance, it is easy to overlook or mistake for dark vegetation or terrain.
When examined more closely, the scale of the figure appears far larger than a normal snake, leading to speculation about a giant anaconda, a rainforest creature, or an unexplained Google Maps discovery.
It remains unclear whether The Riverbank Coil is a physical creature, a visual illusion, or a misread formation created by rainforest shadows and riverbank structure. Because most of the subject blends into its environment, this file is best treated as a low-stability long-range observation record.

The underground network around Taipei Main Station is known for its complex routes, repetitive corridors, and disorienting layout. Its yellow-toned lighting, exposed ceiling structures, and dense overhead grates create a spatial anxiety often associated with Backrooms-like urban legends.
In the footage, a group of short-form content creators appears to be filming an urban legend exploration video inside the passage. A female influencer performs exaggerated reactions for the camera while the surrounding crew handles filming, lighting, and audio. Most of the group’s attention remains on the production itself.
The anomaly begins with one crew member. Unlike the others, the sound recordist is not looking at the influencer. He looks upward toward the ceiling. Following his gaze, a strange face-like form can be seen behind the ceiling grates and exposed structural gaps.
Only part of the subject is visible. The footage appears to show an eye-like glow and an unnaturally wide grin hidden behind the overhead panels. The entity is not positioned in the center of the passage. It remains partially concealed in the ceiling gap, making it feel less like a displayed monster and more like something watching from inside the underground structure.
Observation notes suggest that The Grate Watcher does not appear directly in front of crowds. Instead, it seems to be observed only through ceiling openings, grate gaps, and unlit overhead spaces. Above Shibuya’s commercial district, however, a large abnormal mass of red cloud and lightning appears, with a vast dark outline hidden behind the cloud layer.
The subject is logged in the archive as Makora, but it never fully manifests. Only features resembling a head, a dorsal mass, and multiple outward-reaching limbs can be observed. Its scale far exceeds the surrounding buildings. Portions of the outline overlap with the red lightning, making it appear either suspended above Shibuya or watching the city from behind the storm clouds.
In the foreground, a green taxi is stopped at the intersection with its doors open. Both the driver and passenger are looking toward the abnormal skyward direction. These human reactions shift the record away from a simple aerial image and closer to an on-site sighting captured by Street View equipment.
Observation notes indicate that Makora’s appearance may be associated with intense red lightning, localized rainfall, and abnormal city-light reflections. It does not appear to contact the ground directly, but its scale and position create severe visual pressure over the entire Shibuya district.
